David H. Langstaff

David H. Langstaff is former Executive Vice President of the Leadership Division at the Aspen Institute, where he oversaw the Executive Leadership and Justice & Society Seminars, the Aspen Global Leadership Network, Weave: The Social Fabric Project, and the Office of Curriculum & Moderators. A longtime moderator of values-based leadership seminars, David also chaired the Advisory Board of the Aspen Business & Society Program.

Previously, he served as President and CEO of Veridian Corporation and later of TASC, Inc., and has held board and advisory roles with Idemia-National Security Solutions, the Mindshare Institute, Premier Inc., QinetiQ Group PLC, Boston Dynamics, and General Atlantic. David also served on the Defense Business Board.

An active supporter of the arts, he has served on the boards of organizations including the Wolf Trap Foundation, The Hitachi Foundation, and the Houston Symphony, and was Executive Producer of PBS’s Grammy- and Emmy-nominated *Soundbreaking* series.

David holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He lives in Comus, Maryland with his wife of more than 45 years.
