Saranya supports health and social impact leaders in creating better outcomes, greater joy in work, and systems that sustain change at scale. Leveraging 20+ years of expertise spanning non-profits, health tech, health systems, and consulting, she helps organizations accelerate their progress with curiosity, creativity, and courage. She is a change maker, movement builder, and (mostly metaphorical) rule breaker.

Most recently, Saranya served as the inaugural Chief Patient Experience and Health Equity Officer at Teladoc Health. She is a member of the Board of Directors at OCHIN, a national organization providing tech-enabled solutions to 2,000+ community health sites of care and critical access hospitals across the United States. She also serves on the Board of Willing Hands, a local nonprofit that leverages community volunteers to grow, glean, recover, and distribute approximately 1 million pounds of nourishing food annually for neighbors in need.

Previously, Saranya spent over a decade leading large-scale healthcare transformation efforts at IHI and served as a System Vice President and inaugural Health Equity Officer at one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the United States. She also worked for the Nobel Peace Prize-winning organization Physicians for Human Rights, mobilizing health professionals to translate their expertise into scientifically sound health policy.

Saranya received her MD from Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine, where she was also an Albert Schweitzer Fellow. She received her MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health while serving as a Zuckerman Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership. Saranya has been recognized by Rock Health as a Top 50 in Digital Health Honoree and by the American Medical Women's Association as an Inspire Awardee.
