Keshiv Sharma

Manager, Climate Strategy & Programs

Keshiv Sharma is currently completing his Master of Public Policy at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, where he focuses on climate change, clean energy policy, and the governance challenges of the energy transition. He holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences and Economics, which shaped his interest in the intersection of environmental outcomes, economic systems, and public decision-making.

Keshiv’s experience spans large institutions and smaller, impact-driven organizations. He previously spent two years as a Consultant at Deloitte, working with banks and other large organizations to navigate complex strategic, regulatory, and operational challenges. Earlier in his career, he also gained experience in financial services and impact investing environments, including roles with a major Canadian bank and a student-run social value fund focused on ESG investing and early-stage impact opportunities.

Across these experiences, Keshiv has developed a strong appreciation for how capital, policy, and institutions shape real-world climate outcomes. Through his academic work, professional experience, and extracurricular involvement, he has spent time working on impact-oriented initiatives that bridge research and implementation, with a particular interest in climate action that is pragmatic, collaborative, and grounded in community-level change.

In his free time, Keshiv is a passionate Toronto sports fan, closely following the Maple Leafs, Blue Jays, and Raptors, and enjoys travelling whenever he can.
